Congratulations to Manny Pacquiao for Winning the WBC Lightweight Championship Belt.
I can’t comment much on the Fight since I’m no Boxing Analysts, but one thing is very clear, Manny’s speed outmatched Diaz. From 1st round to 9th. Diaz can’t get his rhythm because of Manny speed. Manny dictated the game with his speed and Right Jobs. The good thing about Diaz was his sportsmanship after the fight. I salute him for that.
Manny’s win is not just about the belt - The first Asian to get Four Division Title is now a dream come true. I’m really proud of Manny and of our country of course. Manny’s succeeded where Great Gabriel "Flash" Elorde failed, Flash Elorde also had this opportunity twice but failed to defeat Carlos Ortiz on same division. Though he failed, I’m sure Flash Elorde also very proud of Manny wherever he is now.
Boston’s Big 3 (Garnett, Pierce, Allen) - Lucky Pacquiao. Hehehe. He had a photograph of the Boston’s Big 3 in his dug-out. I was really laughing watching that part. Boston players are acting like they’re not Superstars. Well, no one can deny, it’s Manny’s nights.
Mabuhay ka Manny!

My Opinion
Reading the boxing forums back when Manny first defeated Barrera. Manny’s style of fight gained criticism not respect. I read on many threads that Manny’s game is not boxing but money, that Manny doesn’t care about himself. Manny thinks only about purse - Manny needs to win the game no matter what.
Not anymore. Manny has already gained the respect of almost every individual who watch and understands boxing.

Agree. I also don’t think his already ready to fight Hatton. Well, the news says that they’re working out his fight against Valero.

I hope MP stay longer on the 135 lb before going up against Hatton.

How about a hand for Pacquiao, the new pound-for-pound king?
And yet, phenomenal as Pacquiao had been on Saturday, the sense was that he could still be better, that all we have seen to this point has been but a prelude to what is yet to come.
Pacquiao began the evening as the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world. He ended it with the world at his feet, with the look of a young man who finally finished his apprenticeship and was ready to embark on his life’s work.
It was an impressive transformation for a fighter who was already so accomplished.
