Which way does she rotate?
Posted by Batuts
Monday, May 12, 2008

Got this a friend. It’s amazing and i’m sharing it to you guys.

Would you believe that the image below can be seen in both direction depending on the inclination of your brain?

Try it yourself. See if you can make her go one way and then the other by shifting the brain’s current.

Here’s the explanation why.
If you see this lady turning in clockwise you are using your right brain.
If you see it the other way, you are using left brain.
Some people do see both ways, but most people see it only one way.

Experimentation has shown that the two different sides, or hemispheres,
of the brain are responsible for different manners of thinking.
The following table illustrates the differences between left-brain and
right-brain thinking:

Left Brain
Logical
Sequential
Rational
Analytical
Objective
Looks at parts

Right Brain
Random
Intuitive
Holistic
Synthesizing
Subjective

Thursday, May 01, 2008

I just noticed yesterday that SM was already using Biodegradable Plastics, i was amazed when i saw the caption "BIODEGRADABLE PLASTIC", i asked my wife kung kelan pa yun and according to her matagal na daw.

At first i thought that it was just a sort of Marketing Strategy. It’s not! The question now is how biodegradable it is. I’m not sure but what i know is normal plastics took centuries to degrade. Semi-Tagal din No? Image yourself throwing a plastic, patay ka na, buhay pa din yung plastic na itinapon mo.

According to Google, these biodegradable plastic degrade to the point the organisms can consume them. When exposed on sunlight, water, damp areas these plastic will degrade up to 70% in 90 days. Compared to century degradation that was absolutely fast!

But wait, i also found some articles on the web that says some oil-based biodegradable plastics will contribute to Global Warming. Eh di balewala din?

Biodegradable plastic seems ideal, but i also found out [Read whole article]

Got an email from a friend about this weird bakeshop in thailand. Just sharing it with you guys.

I don’t know if this is true so it’s up to you to decide. Enjoy your meal.

Bread Or Dead
Not the normal fresh loaf you’d find at your bakery, these are the creations from a bread shop in Thailand.

Use Your Loaf
The baker in the Thai province of Ratchaburi, 62 miles west of the capital Bangkok, said the gruesome designs were not, yet, meant for public consumption.

Fancy A Handwich?
