No Talent - Anthony Taverna
Posted by Batuts
Tuesday, July 08, 2008

Heard how this guy, Anthony Taverna, comments on TV?

I don’t like him. They way he report and the way he comment. They’re baseless, senseless and clearly biased. He’s talking as if everyone listening to him are stupids. I get nothing watching "Punto por Punto" but get pissed.

A grandstanding person and talks as if a problem can be solved that easy - He only talks and talks and talks and talks.... grrrrr. Finding solution to the problem is not his job you say? Right, talk is cheap.

It also seems that he’s clueless on what he’s talking about. Why? because if he understands what he’s saying, he could have at least an idea or a way to solve it. He can suggest, "Hey!!!! why not do this you id**ts" or "D**n it m*r*ns, it easier doing this than that". How can he figure it out? Ohh... i forgot, talk is really cheap. [Read whole article]

When you truly learn driving
Posted by Batuts
Wednesday, June 18, 2008

You’ll notice that you’re using seatbelt again - You’re using it when you were still learning and stopped using it when you thought that you already know how to drive.

You’ll notice that you started following traffic rules again - You’ll stop when the signal is red even if no car is crossing. You stopped following these traffic rules when no one is watching you during the time you think you already know how to drive.

You’ll learn that you have to give way to crossing pedestrians; That you’re lucky you have a car and don’t have to risk your life crossing deadly highways.

You’ll learn that safety is the most important thing on the road - not you have to hurry because you’re already late; You should’ve left your house earlier in the first place.

You’ll learn that driving is a social responsibility; That you’re not the only one in the road and you have to be a good example that other motorist should follow.

You’ll learn that you’re safety [Read whole article]

Ang kapangyarihan ng Media
Paglaya ng Grupo ni Ces Drilon sa Kamay ng mga Rebeldeng Abu Sayyaf
Posted by Batuts
Tuesday, June 17, 2008

Responsible Product Endorsement
Posted by Batuts
Sunday, June 08, 2008

Product Endorser plays a very vital role to a success of one product. This is the reason why companies are willing to pay millions of pesos to successful endorsers because they know that it will give them long term benefit.

Consider this website as a product example, if this is the first time you visited this website, there is one reason that sent you to here or you wouldn’t be here otherwise. You could’ve been referred by google via Google Search, friend, website or other advertisement. You visited and reading this website because someone influenced or invited you. If you don’t trust who endorsed this website to you, you wouldn’t be reading this article. That’s how importand product endorsers are.

In my opinion, as product endorsers, i think it’s their responsibility to understand and believe first on the product before they endorse it.

I seldom watch television so it’s just my first time to see Judy Ann advertisement [Read whole article]

Ano ang Ibig Sabihin ng Salitang LANG o LAMANG?
Posted by Batuts
Monday, May 26, 2008

Posted by Batuts
Saturday, May 24, 2008

Dahil nga dito ang Pilipinas ay tinaguriang Texting Capital of the World.

Finders Keepers

Finders Keepers, we filipinos love this phrase so much. Whenever someone finds something not his, you can your finger who would return gladly return it to the owner. Some of those who would, with finders fee, of course. I’ve always been a victim of this thing. I must admit, burara ako. This is my third time losing a phone, others would vary from P100-P500, a month?

My latest was last night, perhaps, many of you heard about the 3 dead victims of mud-slide in litex, i know them, so we visited their funeral.

I don’t know how i lost it. I may have dropped it while getting-off my car. Mabilis!, just few steps away from my car, i remembered my phone and my wallet was not with me so i went back to the car and get it. To my dismay, my phone wasn’t there already. I’m sure brought my phone because i used it to text my sister where to pick her up from work. We tried searching all over the place, it’s not there; called my phone, it’s ringing but no one is answering. Until we get tired and stopped [Read whole article]

Crash and Learn

The light trails by my side as the rear view flashes red from the distant cars in the counter flow. My hands tremble in the cold night air breathing through my window. My back aches from a long day in school, my eyes tear from fatigue and my feet lack the strength to maneuver as quickly as they did earlier that morning. I am tired, but I am heading home.

It’s 2 a.m., and the roads are clear. There are few cars speeding by, perhaps trying their best to reach home soon to get their rest. Rest, something I very much needed. I simply put the shifter into fourth and cruised along. No need to hurry, I was already late. I was heading home.

I enter the exit to Libis, the tunnel hums from the sound of my engine. Noisy as it may seem, it’s relaxing. The droning sound was like a massage on the back of my neck. I exit the tunnel and enter the flyover; sadly it was brighter inside the tunnel. I put on my high beams and cruised along. No worries, I am heading home.

As I reach the foot of the [Read whole article]

No more Cholorum

Sunday, May 04, 2008

Dati meron dung pila ng FX to Libis, Ortigas and SM North. Meron parin naman ngaun, pero paunti-unti na. Naalala ko last week i was driving my way to office, and daming huli ng MMDA sa C5 near Libis, puro FX, i guess eto yung mga cholorum FX na sinasakyan ko every monday.

LOL. [Read whole article]

I’m done with Games
Posted by Batuts
Wednesday, April 30, 2008

I had another tiring day, so after dinner i turned-on my PC to play Games.

This is what i usually do to relax before going to sleep. I spend the rest of the night playing my favorite games. Games on my computer are always updated, i always check for upcoming game releases. I don’t know why, but playing games motivates me.

After 10 minutes of playing Titan Quest, i found myself bored playing the game, so i opened WarCraft and played DotA instead. But just after a few clicks, i closed the game, turned-off the PC and tuned-in to HBO.

I remember that last night, i did the same, the night before was also the same and i can’t remember when was the last time i really enjoyed playing PC Games...

Before i have lots of games installed on my PC, i always make sure that i have more than 6 games to choose from at a time. Ngaun, i only have 2 games installed WarCraft (DotA) and Titan Quest.

My friend living in the U.S. told me that they have something called "Midlife Crisis" [Read whole article]
